We have been busy remodeling our kitchen at our new house. It has been very therapeutic! It is so nice to rip out old cabinets and counters. It was not so therapeutic to spend hours peeling up the old floor, however. Never the less, it will all be worth it!

We also had a yard sale to help us on our quest of out with the old. It was a wonderful feeling to get rid of things we have not used for years. We took the proceeds and bought new bikes for the kids... something that will be used for years!
Old things are not always bad, though. I will miss our 90 year old house. It has what my architect husband and I love... character and charm. Our new house has that too, but not quite the same. But maybe we just need to live in it for the character and charm to be found.
