School Daze

We are enjoying the school year... so far. 1st grade, here we come! My daughter is loving her new school and teacher. We were nervous with the move and a new school that she would be pretty shy. Apparently she got over that. She loves her new friends and being such a big girl. She loves taking her lunchbox everyday. She loves her homework she brings home! I think I did too at that age. How quickly that love evaporates.

My son is off to pre-school 3 days a week. What am I to do? As nervous as we were about sending our daughter off to a new school, that pales in comparison to how nervous we were about sending our son to pre-school. He is the ultimate in shy! It took him months to get used to nursery, and our daughter was in there with him. Alas, all is well. It is week 2 for him and he is loving it!

It is just me and my baby girl for a few hours... hence the blogging time. She is not too happy about it being just me and her. She keeps wandering around looking for the other kids. She is bored with Mom. I guess her idea of fun is NOT doing errands, laundry, cleaning and washing dishes. Too bad, that is what is happening during the relatively calm hours we have together.

Tater is just ticked that his nap times are all messed up because of all the picking up and dropping off I do of the other two.

That is so nice but a little weird, I think I can hear the fridge when my kids are both gone and it's just Megan and I. I am glad they are loving it.
