Bizarre Dreams

I have discovered this is a much different pregnancy than my 3 previous ones. I have been more sick than ever before, lost weight (why now!), been completely useless as a mom or any type of disciplinarian, and I have the most bizarre dreams!

A few nights ago I dreamt I was married to Nicholas Cage and we were the National Treasure people. Only we had 3 kids and I was expecting. He was telling me about some plan he had to go on a terrible adventure for glory and how he needed my help. I looked at him and said, "Are you out of your mind? I am pregnant and we have 3 kids! What are you thinking?!?!" I have not seen National Treasure for over a year... I have no idea how that popped into my subconscious!

I also dreamt that I was at a huge mall with my whole family and we were shopping for Christmas. My husband was helping my cousins unload a big truck of furniture. I leave him there to go watch my niece be baptized... at the mall. Weird!

Another one was we were at my parents house. The wind started blowing really hard. It blew their house right off the foundation and put it 5 feet from where it was. I start telling everyone we need to get out. My husband, being the architect, decides to look around and find out why a house would blow off it foundation. I say, "Because it was super windy! Now get out!" Good one, don't you think?

Every night I have the most random dreams. Some scare me so bad I still can't forget them. Some are so weird, I think I'll never forget them, but then they are gone. I think I'll have forgotten what it is like to have normal dreams.... 9 months is a long time!

Nine months is a REALLY long time. Maybe the fact that you are dreaming at least means you are sleeping okay? Probably not. Hormones are so weird. Over Conference weekend my in-laws were here. We were talking about drama queen little girls and my darling mother-in-law piped in with the emphatic declaration that we females have every right to be as moody and dramatic as we want because of all the craziness our bodies go through. Amen! Still, I hope your strange dreams subside soon.

I've been having really strange dreams with this pregnancy too. Weird. I wonder what causes it.

Crazy pregnant dreams. That is awesome. And funny. Although you're not sharing the really scary ones. Some of my worst dreams ever have been when I'm pregnant. I have to say, I wish our husbands could be pregnant just once so they could experience the craziness of it all. I mean, I know they experience US while we're crazy, but it's not the same thing.

Hey Luann! I seem to have lost your email address. I am putting a book together about our hope at 9th & 9th and am including a page about the friends we made. Do you happen to have a picture (even just candid) of your family together that you could send me? (pandamonium76@yahoo.com). Thanks!! - Julie

When I was pregnant with the Monkey, I watched a lot of Ellen. On one episode, Ellen was given a Caggage Patch doll that "looked" like her. I dreamed that the Monkey was born with the Ellen doll hair. It looked really creepy on a newborn.
