Belly Buttons

My little girl loves to find everyones "button". It is a favorite past time of hers, along with pulling all the books off the bookshelf, emptying the dresser drawers, and eating chocolate milk mix right out of the can. She is so used to it, she'll try to find one of our "buttons" any time, any place. It gets a little awkward when we are at church, or in the store, or some other place where you maybe should not be showing your button off.

There has been a big fascination with my button in particular as it has been changing over the past few months. Last night we were looking for everyones buttons... again... and my big girl said, "Why is your out? All of ours are in. Aren't they are supposed to be in, Mom." Yup. My little girl just came up and rubbed it and laughed and rubbed it and laughed. My son came up and looked at it for a while and finally asked, completely serious, "Mom, is that the baby's nose?" I told him it was not and that it was just my silly belly button. He was so cute as he continued, "Are you sure, Mom? I really thought it was."

That is so cute. It is a little funny how it changes when your pregnant. Mine is completely flat now it doesn't look like I have one. I know my kids comment on it all the time. so silly. I hope you are feeling good!

I love his comments! I miss hearing his little voice at church. How's the pregnancy treating you?

Oh my gosh - that is hilarious. Well, from one large button-bearer to another, rock on! And by the way, there are other mom-bumps that the kids could be much more interested in that are more embarrassing to display in public...right?

I can't wait to tell my kiddos the story. He's always good for such great chuckles.
