Anyway, I am going to assume that many people missed me blogging and are glad to see me back. I am also going to assume you are all terribly interested in what has happened in the past 6 months.
My little baby girl, or Z, began to be extremely mobile around the time I cut out of here, hence I had NO time to do anything except spend every waking minute trying to find her. And for the most part she has just gotten worse. She is a thumb sucker, so she is always on silent mode. She is also very capable. With 3 other lovelies running around demanding time and attention, sweet, silent, thumb-sucking Z is off exploring every inch of our house. We have found her playing in the toilet, standing on top of the piano, in our garden weeding things that were not weeds, under the little kids table, on top of the dinning table, playing in the garbage, stuck behind the couch, running down the driveway, inside the laundry hamper, and always having the time of her life! She is currently napping, so I am here.
We did celebrate her 1st birthday. It was so cute and fun to see her change and grow so much in that time. I love her!
School ended for our Roo and Pie. It was a wonderful school year for them both. Sadly enough, school starts in 2 weeks. Where has the summer gone?!? Roo is so excited to be going to 1st grade and have lunch at the cafeteria! He is going to love it. He is also mister smarty pants, trying to teach himself times tables. It would help if he could write his numbers the correct way first.
Pie is excited to just get to see her friends again. This summer has been a bit crazy and not full of as many play-dates as we had thought. She has kept herself busy with reading, reading, and some more reading! She also is so excited to show that she taught herself cursive this summer.
Bug thinks she is going to school, as well. She still has a whole year before she goes into pre-school, but that doesn't change her opinion that she is going to school when Pie and Roo start. Any other kids anxious for school to get going, or is it just mine?
My sister from Maryland came for a month to visit. She stayed at my parents, but we spent nearly every day with her. She is the only sibling of mine that lives out of state. We were all glad to see her and her cute kids. We did everything we could with them. We visited places I have not been to in years, or ever in my life. We of course went to Lagoon! We went camping with the whole family over the 24th. We had a family carnival. I taught her girls how to make some cute skirts. We went to the Brighton Reunion together. It was a treat to have her here!
There are so many more things that have happened that I know I can't mention them all... and there are a few that I need to mention, but they will be their own full blog entry, believe you me! Look for these upcoming blog titles: When Squirrel Came to Visit, The Shortcut, and School Days at Lagoon... you will not be disappointed!
